Gabriel's love for movement expression has always been vast; from climbing trees as a young boy to practicing weight lifting as he grew older, his journey has been filled with a myriad of movement experiences.

It all started with a 10 min ab routine he had found on Youtube. For about 6 months, he diligently did the routine every single day. To his surprise, he not only got the abs but also an endless curiosity for physical development. At the time, Gabriel was getting adapted to a new school in Nicaragua. This transition brought along a lot of insecurities and mental health issues with it. In a way, exercise served as Gabriel’s mentor throughout his teenage years. It taught him that hard work leads to results and that each person is responsible for their own success.

However, it also taught him that progress can be a messy ordeal. One does not wake up one morning and suddenly start doing everything they need to be doing. This realization is what motivated him to become a coach. As a coach, Gabriel loves working with curious, driven individuals that have a genuine desire to improve. He understands that every person is unique in the way they learn, progress, and stay motivated. This is why his coaching style is so special. Gabriel not only aims to understand your physical challenges but also your psychological ones.

This lifelong passion to understand the intricacies of the human body and mind led him to pursue a Kinesiology degree at the University of British Columbia. There, he is constantly searching for new ways to improve his craft. For Gabriel, movement is more than just an activity – it’s his way of sharing his passion with the world. He understands that just like exercising, coaching is an art that requires time and dedication, and Gabriel is always up for the challenge!
