‘Movement is Medicine’ – the underpinning of Katie’s practice, study and values.

Living by and on Sydney’s beaches since the age of 11 has had great influence on Katie’s love for movement in the outdoors. She likes to move in any way she can – ocean swimming, circuit and weight training, surfing, running, paddleboarding.. If she’s active, she’s happy!

Since completing her Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology, Katie has had a wide array of experience in exercise: from its clinical application in neurological and cardiac populations, to strength & conditioning in elite netball, rowing and AFL teams – plus years of personal training along the way. After a bad back injury during her elite rowing career, Katie’s passion for injury rehabilitation and fixing bodies began to grow. As an Exercise Physiologist, Katie also focuses on the management of chronic lifestyle conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular conditions and degenerative musculoskeletal disorders.

Katie’s training focuses on building a strong and mobile structure to create a resilient body. She aims to arm her clients with knowledge and skills to take responsibility for their own health. Most importantly, she shares her love for simply being active and the healthiest human possible.
