Hayley's movement history started in the prairies of southern Alberta. Growing up in a small town with a family of outdoor enthusiasts, she spent most of her free time outdoors exploring. Weekends and holidays were spent hiking, canoeing, climbing trees, and building things around the house. She built upon this passion for movement with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta. While studying, Hayley volunteered at multiple centres that focused on teaching exercise and swimming to individuals living with impairments.

Since completing her degree Hayley has expanded her knowledge of Kinesiology by completing a certification in Clinical Exercise Physiology with CSEP. She also holds certifications in Functional Range Conditioning (with a focus on improving joint health / function) and Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery. Over the last five years she has developed her skills in cardiac stress testing, chronic disease management, fall prevention, pregnant & post-menopausal exercise, and behavior change coaching.

All the while, Hayley spends most of her free time exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest in search of new ways to have Type 2 Fun. She is enamored with the West Coast and the fact that she can adventure in the mountains and ocean in the same day, allowing her to make the most of her passion for the outdoors. You can find her trying new sports like mountain biking, skiing, golfing, tennis, surfing and even kiteboarding.

Hayley is looking forward to helping clients restore their movements and return to the activities they love!
