Kaye is the founder of Restore Human and the driving force behind its evolution from a small coaching practice into a growing movement focused on physical literacy, human resilience, and long-term health. He brings over a decade of hands-on coaching experience alongside a background shaped by high-stakes environments, disciplined learning, and a deep curiosity about what helps people truly thrive.
Kaye did not start with natural physical confidence. After years in sedentary design work, he chose a different path and joined the Australian Army, serving across multiple deployments and leadership roles. Those years taught him how people perform under pressure, how teams succeed or fail, and how preparation, trust, and clarity shape outcomes. When he left the military, he redirected that same discipline into studying movement, health, and human performance, learning from leading coaches and practitioners while building his own practical coaching approach grounded in real-world results.
In 2016, he founded Restore Human with a clear aim: help people regain agency through their bodies and reconnect with the living world. Since then, the company has grown into a collaborative coaching organization that brings together kinesiologists, clinical exercise specialists, experienced personal trainers, and professionals from diverse academic and international backgrounds. This mix of perspectives shapes both the Restore Human methodology and its culture, allowing the team to combine scientific grounding, practical coaching skill, and human care in equal measure. Kaye’s work now focuses as much on developing coaches and building systems as it does on coaching clients directly.
He is known for combining high standards with deep care for the people around him. His leadership approach blends long-term thinking, practical experimentation, and a strong belief that meaningful work should improve both the people doing it and the people it serves. He is particularly focused on building Restore Human as a place where coaches can grow professionally, clients can regain vitality, and partners can collaborate on work that has lasting impact.
At heart, Kaye sees himself as a Wilderness Connector: someone helping people rediscover strength, capability, and belonging through movement and relationship with the world around them. Through Restore Human, he is building a platform for others to do the same.
