COACH MAX

Max Clarkson's passion for health, movement, and physical potential was sparked early, from playing basketball as a kid to competing at the University of Ottawa. Since then, his fitness journey has taken him through powerlifting, gymnastics, calisthenics, mobility, and rehabilitative exercise. He now blends it all with a focus on floor-based skills: animal flow, handstands, and soft acrobatics.

With certifications in Animal Flow and personal training, and over a decade of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist, Max combines both disciplines as hybrid modalities, allowing him to serve clients in a more holistic way than either scope could alone. His approach bridges movement and recovery by teaching fundamental movement patterns, addressing limitations through mobility and myofascial release, and building strength on a solid foundation.

Whether you're navigating pain and stiffness or simply want to feel more connected to your body, Max offers practical, grounded support that meets you where you're at, helping you unlock greater capacity to move and be well.

His current training passion brings it all together: gymnastics, handstands, soft acrobatics, and animal flow, channeling years of developed strength into fluid, floor-based movement. At the heart of it is his deeper why: embodiment, flow state, play, and adventure in nature.
