KIN. COACH SOPHIA
Born and raised in Victoria, Sophia developed a deep connection to the outdoors from an early age and has always had a strong appreciation for movement, adventure, and living an active lifestyle. Growing up on Vancouver Island, she spent much of her time playing soccer and participating in a variety of sports. These experiences helped shape her passion for teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. Outside of athletics, Sophia’s love for nature was nurtured through family camping trips, hiking adventures, and winters spent skiing at Mount Washington, where her family cabin became a second home and a place filled with lifelong memories.
Sophia is an avid adventurer who thrives on exploring the outdoors and challenging herself in new ways. Her passion for travel and hiking recently led her to complete the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, an unforgettable experience that allowed her to immerse herself in the culture, landscapes, and beauty of Peru. Whether hiking local trails, camping under the stars, or discovering new places around the world, Sophia values the physical and mental wellness that comes from staying connected to nature and embracing new experiences.
Driven by a desire to work closely with people and support their overall well-being, Sophia graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria. Throughout her education and hands-on experiences, she developed a strong understanding of human movement, exercise science, and the importance of building healthy, sustainable habits. She is committed to empowering individuals to become the best versions of themselves both physically and mentally.
Sophia is known for her positive energy, approachable personality, and genuine care for every client she works with. She strives to create an encouraging and supportive environment where people feel comfortable, motivated, and confident in pursuing their goals, no matter where they are starting from.
